Okay, so I posted Suikoden 1 and 2 over, but I realize that it's not that easy to set up, so I will provide more detailed setup instructions to anyone wanting to play! Okay, here are the steps to a shiny, working copies of Suikoden 1 and 2 on your computer (a nice alternative to e-bay until Konami gets smart and either re-prints the game or localizes the PSP version): 1. Start by downloading the games. Find a nice folder for them and unzip them. Download ePSXe from its.

I assume you're using Windows, so get version 1.6.0 for Windows. Make a clean separate folder for ePSXe and put the.zip file you just downloaded in it. Now that we found love download. Unpack the.zip file. Download and put it in the 'bios' folder in your ePSXe folder. Now you need plugins! The minimum you need to run any game is a graphics and sound plugin. The right plugin varies between computers and games, so it's best to sample plugins and see what works best for you through trial and error.
Download some graphics and sound plugins. You can find some or (or google for more). I recommend any of Pete's plugins. The plugins that worked for me for Suikoden 2 were 'P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.17' for graphics and 'Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41' for sound, so if you're really confused or indecisive in downloading, start by downloading those.

You will now have a bunch of pretty.dll files. Now open the 'ePSXe' application (it should have an icon shaped like a playstation controller). It should start up a setup wizard, asking you to set things up. It will ask for bios (select the bios from list and press next), then for a video plugin (again select one from the list and press next) and then sound (select from list, press next).
You can also configure the buttons you want to use during the games you play at the end (setting your keyboard up to act like a playstation controller, that is). Remember that if one thing doesn't work, don't give up -- keep trying to see what works best for you. Go to 'file', then 'run ISO' and select Suikoden or Suikoden 2 from the folder you unzipped the games to. I haven't tested the Suikoden file yet, so use Suikoden 2. Does the sound not work? If so, keep trying different sound plugins. Each time you want to test a new plugin, you have to close ePSXe completely, then go to 'config', then 'sound'.

Select a new plugin from the list and try running the game again. Repeat until it works. The same applies if you have video problems -- if the video is strange, keep trying new video plugins. Is Suikoden 2 running too fast?
